Generic Models
This is a set of generic SIMSAT compatible space models that ease the developments of the spacecraft models used in operational simulators.
SIMPACK
SIMPACK (Simulator Packet Telecommand & Telemetry Modeling toolkit) is a generic model of the ESA Packet Telemetry and Telecommand protocols. It provides the spacecraft modelers with a set of functions representing the standard transitions between the layers of the TM and TC packet standards.
PEM
PEM is a multi-spacecraft Position and Environment Model that models multiple spacecraft orbits around both the Earth and other planets. It supports very detailed modeling of the Earth environment, including models of the atmosphere, magnetic field and the shape of the terrestrial gravity field. PEM calculates a number of environmental variables for each simulated spacecraft, such as the local solar flux and the visibility, angular size and phase of all simulated solar system bodies.
SENSE
SENSE (Satellite Electrical Network Simulation toolkit) is a generic electrical network used to support the development of spacecraft power models. An electrical network as modeled with SENSE consists of a number of devices (elements in the SENSE jargon) such as power sources, power buses, transfer switches, etc. Each element of a SENSE network is characterized by a number of attributes that specify its identity, status and behavior.
